Anuew is a professional plant growth regulator (PGR) containing 27.5% prohexadione-calcium used to slow vertical shoot growth, reduce mowing frequency, and enhance turf density. It works through foliar absorption by inhibiting late-stage gibberellin biosynthesis.
How Anuew Works:
Active Ingredient: Prohexadione-calcium (27.5% wettable granule or liquid EZ formulation).
Mode of Action: Inhibits late-stage gibberellic acid to decrease cell elongation.
Uptake: Absorbed strictly through the leaves (foliar uptake); it is inactive in the soil and should not be watered in.
